Summertime

Well my summer has been pretty good so far. Of course it doesn't take that much to beat last summer which was kind of a bummer but still :) Couple of weeks back I had some friends over for Provinssirock and the weekend was pretty good. It didn't go exactly the way I had pictured it but it was still fun. On the week after that I finally graduated so I'm done with school (for now at least). Then my parents and my sister came to visit me and we celebrated my graduation and my birthday which happened to be on the same week too. I turned 25 so I have been on this planet for quite a while now. Let's hope I'll be here for at least another 25 years. So my summer has been quite festive so far :)

Now I'm pretty much just waiting for my summer job to start on July 16th. It's kind of funny to think that I'm no longer a student since I have been one for the last 4 years. Now I guess I should try to find a job somewhere and start to once again think what I want to do with my life. I have couple of ideas in mind but I'm not sure if I actually make any of those happen. I guess time will tell. But now I'm just relaxing and enjoying summer as long as I can. I hope anyone who reads this is also having a good summer (or winter) instead of a bad one :)

Let there be light

Well it's been a while again and my last post seems so depressing now. Oh well, I was drunk and frustrated at that time. But now things are starting to be alright. Well they haven't been too bad for a while now but I've been busy with school stuff so for a while I forgot that I even have this blog :P

Summer is almost here and there is more and more light and I gotta say that I love it. There's also light at the end of the tunnel with school so can't really complain at the moment. Now I'm just playing the waiting game for a while but hopefully I will be done with school soon. At least for now. Can't come up with anything else to write about right now but I'll try to post more often if I come up with anything.

Behaving

I wonder why it's so hard to change one's behavioral patterns. The "one" of course being me :P I know that I don't achieve anything by doing things the way I do and I might actually progress in life if I would change the way I do certain things, but still I continue to do things the way I have done before. Pfft, maybe I should have started studying psychology.

Once again it has been a while since my last update and pretty much nothing has changed. Well I'm not in such a positive mood nowadays but still better than last autumn. Maybe some day I learn to actually live this life before it's too late. Anyway I hope you're enjoying life at least as much as you can :)

Well the year changed and we finally got rid of the crappy 2011. Well it probably wasn't a bad year for everyone and even I had some good moments but the year still felt and still feels pretty crappy to me. Anyway it's now 2012 and it's a whole new year with new possibilities (at least until the end of the world :P).

It's kind of funny to me that nothing really changed (except for one number) when the year changed, but still for some reason it feels like things changed quite a bit. I have been pretty happy for these first days of the year for some reason. It'll be interesting to see how long this lasts but I wouldn't hate it, if the feeling would be here for a while.

I hope your new year has been great so far and ends up being your best year yet :)

The sound of silence

I still don't have much motivation to write anything here because I don't really know what to write about. Life is still pretty much the same for me although I'm getting a bit excited that the autumn is pretty much gone and days are starting to become longer and stuff like that. I have been in quite a crappy place mentally during this autumn, but I'm hoping to snap out of it when there's more light and spring starts to arrive :)

I got contract extension for my part-time job so that's nice :) The new contract lasts until the end of April and hopefully I will graduate in March so I could actually start thinking my next move. I have done all the required courses (and couple extra ones too) so all I'd have to do is my thesis. Even that shouldn't be that bad once I find motivation somewhere.

Christmas is almost here as well and this time I'll be going to Helsinki to see my sister, parents and some other relatives as well. Haven't seen them in quite a while so it should be fun :) But I guess this is it for now. Happy holidays and enjoy life :)
